1. Amazon invests around Rs 4500 crore in its Indian businesses
Amazon is investing a fresh capital of Rs 4,472.50 crore into three of its Indian business Amazon Pay, Amazon Retail and Amazon Seller, according to an Economic Times report. Amazon Seller which runs the marketplace business gets the lion’s share of 3400 crore rupees as it is the biggest cashburner due to deep discounting, promotions and marketing.

2. Google’s parent company Alphabet Q3 ad revenues up by 17%
Google’s parent company Alphabet reported a 17% surge in ad revenue to $33.9 billion for the third quarter from a year earlier. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has attributed this growth to mobile search, YouTube and Cloud.

3. HBO Max to launch in the US in May 2020
WarnerMedia’s streaming platform HBO Max will debut in the US in May 2020 at 14.99 dollars. It’s targeting a user base of 75-90 million subscribers by 2025 across Europe, the U.S. and Latin America.
