1.L&K Saatchi & Saatchi CEO Anil Nair steps down, Paritosh Srivastava named new MD
Anil S Nair has stepped down as CEO & Managing Partner, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi India. Paritosh Srivastava, currently COO, Publicis Ambience and Publicis Beehive will take over as MD, with effect from 2nd January, 2020. Nair will however remain associated with the company as an Advisor.
2. S4 Capital’s MightyHive opens office in India
S4 Capital’s media consultancy arm MightyHive opens its first office in Mumbai with Smita Salgaonkar as its country head. The company plans to build a full-service team in India over the coming months.
3. Amit Gujral, CMO LG India moves on
Amit Gujral Corporate Marketing Officer, LG India has stepped down from his role after 16 years. His next move is not known yet.
4. Google to restrict political ad targeting on its platforms
Google’s parent company The Alphabet Inc will no longer allow election ads to be targeted based on political affiliation on Google Search, YouTube and across the web. However, political advertisers will still be able to target voters based on age, gender and zip code. The new changes will be rolled out globally on 6th January 2020.

Facebook has announced new safety tools for advertisers to let them have more control over the placement of their ads on the platform. It hopes to more broadly roll out these tools next year.
