Twitter Pauses Plan To Delete Inactive Accounts
Yesterday, we told you that Twitter would be deleting accounts that have been inactive for more than 6 months. However, today the social platform stated that it would no longer delete any accounts until there is a solution to preserve the ones of deceased users. This comes after a backlash from upset Twitter users who demanded that accounts of their deceased loved-ones should remain live. Twitter issued an apology on their timeline.  

Wavemaker Promotes Anna Hickey To The Position Of President, Global Clients
Wavemaker has promoted Anna Hickey to the position of president, global clients. She joined Wavemaker in January 2018 as Managing Director, before becoming UK chief operating officer in April this year. Hickey, who will continue to be based in the UK, begins the new post in February 2020.

Flipkart Launches Flipkart Saathi
Flipkart has introduced a ‘Smart Assistive Interface’ feature called ‘Flipkart Saathi’ which includes audio-guided navigation and pop-up texts to help first-time e-commerce users on the platform. As per livemint, the feature is currently available in Hindi & English and will soon roll out in other regional languages.
