Melt takes a slight detour from marketing to revisit Designyatra 2023 – India’s largest design conference. Held at the Grand Hyatt in Goa over three days, Designyatra hosted over 900 delegates and 20 speakers from a wide gamut of specialities – be it visual, product, architecture, fashion, motion, typography, branding, spatial, sustainability and even bio-design.

Amongst the star speakers was Dick Powell, the co-founder of SeymourPowell, a design company with almost 40 years of experience, and rightly considered the poster boys of product design with work ranging from Tefal’s irons to the interiors of Virgin Galactic’s spaceship.
