Melt is taking a closer look at the eleventh edition of the Kyoorius Creative Awards, held on May 24th in Mumbai and co-hosted by Suresh and Pamela. Nearly 1500 of the country’s leading marketing and advertising professionals gathered to celebrate Indian marketing creativity.
This year, Kyoorius decided to GiveBack, addressing various pain points within the ad industry. Teaming up with partners Wieden + Kennedy, they created impactful posts that stirred both controversy and solidarity. In a global first for any awards show, Kyoorius took a significant step by refunding 50% of entry fees for entries that didn’t progress past the first round.
The 2024 Kyoorius Creative Awards received over 3600 entries, judged by a panel of 60 jurors. Alongside honouring the elephant winners, two special awards were presented: the Nargis Wadia award by Indian Creative Women and the Master of Creativity award. Named after Nargis Wadia, the first woman to establish a full-service creative agency, the Nargis Wadia Award offers a young female creative a chance to accelerate her career with a fully sponsored trip to the Cannes Lions. The Master Of Creativity award recognises and celebrates individuals outside the marcomms industry who have made continuous contributions to the field.
