1. McCann Worldgroup Appoints Alex Lopez as President & Global CCO
McCann Worldgroup has appointed Alex Lopez as president and global chief creative officer. Lopez joins from Nike where he held several leadership positions including VP of global marketing, men’s creative director, and co-founder and global head of studio at Nike’s production arm Waffle Iron Entertainment. As reported by campaign UK, Lopez was also responsible for Nike’s prolific campaigns such as ‘Dream Crazy’ and ‘You Can’t Stop Us’.
2. AAAI Re-elects Anupriya Acharya as President
The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), has re-elected Anupriya Acharya, CEO- South Asia, Publicis Groupe, as its president for the year 2021-22. As noted by exchange4media, Prasanth Kumar, CEO, GroupM India, too, has retained his position as vice-president of the association. Kia India has named Tae-Jin Park as Managing Director and CEO, effective on 4th October 2021. In his new role, Park will be responsible for company’s growth and market expansion in the country.
