1. Dentsu’s Ashish Bhasin Granted Early Retirement
Ashish Bhasin, CEO, Apac and chairman India, dentsu International, is retiring early from the agency, reports campaign india. The Indian operations of the agency will be temporarily handled by Peter Huijboom, global CEO, media and global clients. Similarly, the Apac business will be temporarily handled by Simon Jones, CFO – Apac and Belli Mathanda, COO, Apac.

2. Hiroshi Igarashi to Succeed Toshihiro Yamamoto as Dentsu Group CEO
Dentsu Group has announced that after five years as CEO, Toshihiro Yamamoto will retire from the role, effective 1 January  2022.  As reported by campaign Asia, he will be succeeded by Hiroshi Igarashi, current president and CEO of Dentsu Inc. In other changes, Tim Andree will retire from his executive role to become non-executive chairman of the board in March 2022.

3. ZEE5 Q2 Revenue Up 32%
ZEE5 has reported a 32% year-on-year growth in Q2 with a total revenue at Rs 130.5 crore compared to Rs 98.9 crore in Q2 FY21. Operating loss narrowed 9.18% to Rs 172 crore from Rs 189.4 crore in the previous fiscal, reports exchange4media. During the quarter, ZEE5 had 3.2 million global monthly active users (MAUs) and 9.3 million global daily active users (DAUs).

4. Nandita Sinha Named CEO of Myntra
Myntra has named Nandita Sinha has its CEO, effective January 2022. She is currently the VP of Customer Growth and Marketing at Flipkart, overseeing marketing for the e-comm company. As per exchange4media, Sinha replaces Amar Nagaram who has been at the company for seven years. With her appointment, the group gets its first female CEO.

5. Amazon Launches New Clip Sharing Feature
Amazon has announced that it will let users share video clips showing up to 30 seconds of some of its Prime Video content. According to The Verge, the feature will be available only on iOS devices that have the Prime Video app. The ‘Share Clip’ button will show up while watching a show and tapping it will create a 30-second video clip, which users can share over iMessage or on social media.
