Netflix has posted its Q2 earnings for 2020, posting revenue growth of 24.9% year-on-year in the quarter ending 30 June 2020. As per exchange4media, Netflix’s total revenue stands at $6.148 billion. The operating income stands at $1.3 billion. The streaming giant also reported that it added 10.1 million paid memberships versus 2.7 million in last year’s Q2. The average streaming paid members in the quarter rose by 25% year-on-year.
2. Netflix Elevates Ted Sarandos To The Role of Co-CEO
Netflix has elevated its content chief, Ted Sarandos to co-CEO, as reported by The Economic Times. Sarandos will continue his role leading the content operations. Reed Hastings, co-founder and CEO of Netflix, said that the two would work full time as co-CEOs and that he had no plans to leave the company soon. Netflix also gave Chief Product Officer, Greg Peters the additional role of chief operating officer.

Wunderman Thompson India has won the global creative mandate of PepsiCo-owned Mountain Dew, according to exchange4media. The account will be handled out of the agency’s Delhi office. While the agency was already handling Mountain Dew in India, it will now be overseeing the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa markets for the brand.

Mirum India has won the digital mandate for Lotus Professional, a professional products division of Lotus Herbals.
