Cannes Lions has shifted its International Festival of Creativity from June to October as the coronavirus outbreak worsens, as reported by Campaign. This is part of its previously announced contingency plans. According to Isabel Massey, global media director at Diageo, OMG will be its media agency of record and PHD its strategic media lead. - HSBC consolidates its global account with WPP as the lead agency
HSBC has consolidated its global advertising account with WPP as the ‘lead agency group partner’ as reported by Campaign UK. Publicis Groupe, which shared some of the business with WPP, will continue to work on creative for the bank on a project basis. HSBC is said to have conducted the review at a holding company level during a closed process that began last year. - Titan retains Madison Media as its agency on record
After a competitive pitch, Titan has retained Madison Media Group as its Agency on Record as reported by Exchange4media. The pitch size is estimated to be around Rs 300 crore. Madison has been handling Titan since 2017. Under the mandate, Madison will create the TV, Print and Radio planning and buying strategy for the company. - Salesforce appoints former SBI chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya as the India CEO
Former SBI chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya has been appointed as the new CEO of Salesforce, as seen on Livemint. She will take over as the software company’s Chairman and CEO from April 20. In her new role, Bhattacharya will report to Ulrik Nehammer, the General Manager of APAC region.
