1. Facebook Rejects 2.2 Million Ads
Facebook vice president for global affairs, Nick Clegg said that the company has rejected 2.2 million ads across Facebook and Instagram because the ads were trying to “obstruct voting” in the upcoming US presidential election, The Verge reported. Clegg added that the social media giant has partnered with 70 media outlets to verify information and is using artificial intelligence to “delete billions of posts and fake accounts, even before they are reported by users”.

The 2020 COVID edition of the study was conducted across 5 markets – India, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines & South Korea, with a total sample size of 2,900 respondents. Hotstar will launch in Singapore on 1 November 2020, as reported by campaign India. Consumers in Singapore can subscribe to the service for a subscription fee of S$69.98 annually. All Hotstar users will also have access to two concurrent streams and unlimited download (excluding live feed) per device.
