1. Zee Entertainment Q4 Profit at Rs 272.36 Crore
Zee Entertainment Enterprises has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 272.36 crore for the quarter ended 31 March 2021. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 765.82 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago. According to The Economic Times, its total income during the quarter under review was Rs 1,984.39 crore against Rs 1,991.74 crore in the corresponding quarter. Its revenue from advertisement was at Rs 1,122.96 crore and subscription revenue at Rs 803.35 crore in the January-March quarter.

Srishti Behl Arya, director – original film, Netflix India, is exiting the OTT platform after a stint of three years. Her last day at the organisation is 21 May 2021. As per campaign india, Arya joined Netflix in May 2018 and was reporting to Monika Shergill, VP – content, Netflix India.

Snap Inc., which owns Snapchat, has announced new initiatives to help creators grow their audience and build business, as per exchange4media. The company has launched ‘Story Studio’ which offers editing tools to make professional content for mobile, on mobile. The app is also launching a ‘Creator Marketplace’ where brands can find and contact verified creators. Snap Inc has also unveiled ‘Screenshop’, a new scan feature that helps users scan photos and shop similar looks with recommendations from hundreds of brands.

Apurva Purohit has resigned as president of Jagran Group. She led the Radio City business for ten years, before she was elevated as president of the Jagran Group in 2015. As reported by campaign India, Purohit is believed to have implemented resilient verticals in radio, print, outdoor and digital and helped the company power through difficult economic scenarios.
5. Balaji Telefilms Onboards Zulfiqar Khan as New Group COO
Balaji Telefilms has onboarded Zulfiqar Khan as their new group chief operating officer who shall head the operations of the media conglomerate.
