You & Mr Jones, the global brandtech group founded by David Jones, is launching a media division and has hired former Mindshare Global chief executive Nick Emery to run the business. As reported by campaign India, the new media division is being positioned as a “totally new media model” that aims to put brands “back in control of their media” and offering transparency, technology and in-housing services. It claims to have a $300m war chest that Emery will be able to deploy as founding partner.
3. Apple Adds Second Ad Slot in App Store
Apple is planning to expand its advertising business by adding a second advertising slot in its App Store search page’s “suggested” section, The Economic Times reported. The new advertising slot, which will be rolled out by the end of the month, will allow advertisers to promote their apps across the whole network, rather than in response to specific searches.

Havas Media Group India has elevated Sanchita Roy as head of strategy. As per campaign India, Roy joined the agency in 2020 as head of West India to manage operations of its Mumbai office from OMD. She will now be responsible for driving growth strategy for the agency.
