Gabriela Scardaccione, global creative director of Mother, is leaving the agency after 21 years. Scardaccione had joined Mother in 2000 when it comprised only 20 people. She was also the founding partner of Mother Family’s Latin American arm, Madre, which operated from 2005 to 2017 out of Buenos Aires and later London.

CavinKare has announced its foray into the quick service restaurant or QSR segment selling fried chicken, pizzas, and burgers under the Jango’z brand. It has already launched an outlet in Chennai, with plans to set up over 100 outlets across the country by 2026. As per livemint, Jango’z could add Rs 150 crore in business over the next five years.

L’Oreal India has appointed Sujay Ray as the Head of Digital Marketing. Ray joins the company after working with Mindshare for more than 3 years as Category Lead-Deodorant & Oral (Team Unilever). In November this year, L’Oreal India had appointed Krishna Vilasini Bharadwaj as its Director – Corporate Affairs and Enagagement.

5. BYJU’s Appoints Himanshu Bajaj as Head of Business
BYJU’S has appointed Himanshu Bajaj as Head of Business to lead its BYJU’S Learning Centre. In his role, Himanshu will be responsible for development and expansion of BYJU’S Learning Centre, along with providing strategic business growth and thought leadership direction for the brand and the business. He will report directly to the chief operating officer of BYJU’S, Mrinal Mohit.
