Google India has recorded Rs 5593.8 crore as revenue for FY20 with a total income of Rs 4,147 crore. The net profit has seen a 24% rise in FY20 as compared to the previous fiscal. As reported by exchange4media, Google’s advertising revenue has contributed to about 27% share in the turnover.

Cheil India has roped in Akila Jayaraman as vice president, as per afaqs. In her current role, she will be leading the media efforts for Samsung India across all categories. Previously, she was working with Essence as Associate Vice President.

Hero MotoCorp has appointed global mobility expert Michael Clarke to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), with the additional role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Mike will join Hero MotoCorp effective 1 January 2021 and report to Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman & CEO of Hero MotoCorp. As noted by exchange4media, he will be based out of India.

5. Facebook Ad Tool Bug Affects Thousands Of Advertisers

Facebook in US is offering millions of dollars in credits to compensate some affected advertisers after it quietly reported about a code error in its ad metric tool that went unfixed for as long as 12 months. As per The Economic Times, the code error has affected several thousand advertisers. The compensation being offered by Facebook is for “miscalculating the number of sales derived from ad impressions”.
