1. Alphabet Q3 Consolidated Revenue Increases by 41%
Alphabet has reported a 41% growth in consolidated revenues at $65.1 billion for the third quarter ending September 2021. Google Search and other advertising revenues of $37.9 million in the quarter were up 44%, led by strong growth in retail. YouTube advertising revenues of $7.2 billion were up 43%. As reported by exchange4media, the growth in sales and marketing expenses were driven by headcount growth, followed by the continued ramp-up of spending on ads and promo in contrast to the pull back in the third quarter last year.

Uncommon Creative Studio has won the advertising account for British Airways after a competitive pitch against the incumbent WPP. WPP has worked on the business since 2017 with Wavemaker as its media agency and Ogilvy as its creative shop. As per campaign UK, Omnicom, Havas and Interpublic were all involved in the process.
3. L&K Saatchi & Saatchi Bags Integrated Creative Mandate of Jindal Steel & Power
Jindal Steel & Power has appointed L&K Saatchi & Saatchi to handle their integrated brand and communication responsibilities. As reported by exchange4media, the agency’s digital wing Saatchi & Saatchi Propagate will also be responsible for the brand’s digital creative duties. L&K Saatchi & Saatchi won the mandate following a multi-agency pitch and will be managing TMT Rebar and Jindal Panther.
4. realme & Glance Sign Exclusive Partnership
realme and content platform Glance have signed an exclusive partnership. This will enable realme users in India to access Glance LIVE, a streaming service with real time content by celebrities and creators across sports, current affairs, live games and commerce. According to exchange4media, this will be rolled out to approximately 30 million realme smartphones in India by the end of 2022.
5. Vipul Oberoi Joins Dun & Bradstreet India as Director, Marketing Vipul Oberoi has joined Dun & Bradstreet India as director – marketing. He will be responsible for enhancing brand salience, developing ROI-focused go-to-market strategies to achieve the company’s business objectives and spearheading its CSR initiatives.
