1. MIB directs TV channels to air PSB for 30 minutes daily
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has directed satellite TV channels to undertake public service broadcasting for a minimum period of 30 minutes in a day on themes of national importance and of social relevance.

2. Leadership restructuring at McCann
Global President and CCO Alex Lopez leaves, while McCann Worldgroup Global CEO Daryl Lee will become McCann Global CEO in addition to his current duties. McCann Global Chief Strategy Officer Harjot Singh is promoted to Global CSO of McCann Worldgroup.

3. Meta’s new Rights Manager website helps curb copyright infringement
Rights Manager is a copyright management tool that helps establish content ownership by uploading reference files and reviewing matching videos that may contain content that users own the rights to. It also allows users to grant permissions to post their videos.

4. ENIL MD Prashant Panday resigns
Entertainment Network India Ltd. (ENIL) has said that its MD Prashant Panday has requested to be relieved due to other preoccupations. He has tendered his resignation from the position of MD as well as directorship of the company with effect from 31 January, 2023.

5. PUMA India signs Harmanpreet Kaur
Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been roped in by sports brand PUMA India as its latest brand ambassador. As part of the partnership terms, Harmanpreet will endorse the brand’s footwear, apparel and accessories.
