MullenLowe Lintas Group launched its ‘digital-first creative PR’ agency Lintas Live in India. GolinOpinion will be rebranded as Lintas Live. As per campaign India, Lintas Live will help brands with solutions for business challenges through PR, digital, content, moment marketing and technology. The agency will be headed by Ameer Ismail as president and Sarvesh Raikar has been appointed as its creative head.

2. LinkedIn Launches ‘Stories’ In India

LinkedIn has launched ‘Stories’ in India. Through this feature, the social media app looks to help members share everyday professional moments and experiences more casually. Stories allows members to publish photos and videos up to 20 seconds long, which will be visible on their profiles for 24 hours.   The feature is available in India, US, Canada, France, Australia, Brazil, The Netherlands and UAE.

3. Microsoft Rebrands Bing Search Engine as Microsoft Bing

Microsoft is all set to rebrand its Bing search engine as Microsoft Bing. According to The Verge, the shift from Bing to Microsoft Bing was announced in a blog post by the company. The rebranding means that Bing will now be using its own logo and a Microsoft Bing logo on the homepage of the search engine.

4. Apollo Tyres Appoints Hizmy Hassen As Chief Digital Officer

Apollo Tyres has appointed Hizmy Hassen as the company’s first chief digital officer. As reported by campaign India, Hassen will be based in London and will be leading the strategy and operations of Apollo Tyres’ digital, including responsibility for information technology. He will report to Neeraj Kanwar, vice chairman and MD, Apollo Tyres.
