1.Whatsapp sets limits on forwarded messages

WhatsApp will place new limits on the forwarding of messages, according to Techcrunch. Starting today, messages that have been identified as ‘highly forwarded’ — sent through a chain of five or more people — can only be forwarded to a single person. This is the latest movement by Facebook-owned instant messaging service to curtail the spread of misinformation.

2.L’Oréal promotes Shelly Chiang to CMO for APAC


L’Oréal has elevated Shelly Chiang to its CMO of Asia Pacific, as reported by Marketing Interactive. Prior to this, Chiang was the digital director of Asia Pacific for more than a year. She replaces Daniel Chan who previously helmed the role for three years. She has been with the company for over 16 years.
