1. TRAI on ‘issues related to FM Radio broadcasting’
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has sought authority recommendations on several issues, including removing the linkage to the Non-Refundable One-Time Entry Fee (NOTEF) and extending the existing FM license period of 15 years by three years.
2. Fiat India Automobiles names Rajesh Khatri as President & CEO
Fiat India Automobiles (FIAPL), a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), has appointed Rajesh Khatri as its President and CEO. Khatri succeeds Ravi Gogia, who was handling the charge of the company’s President since 2019.

Twitter has rolled out its Twitter Blue subscription service in India. As of now, it is available at a monthly purchase price of Rs 650 and Rs 900 on web and smartphones, respectively.

Bob Iger has unveiled a major corporate restructure and a US$5.5 billion cost-cutting exercise that will impact 7,000 jobs during his first quarterly update since being reinstated as CEO. Results for Q4CY22 had revenues up 8% to $23.5 billion.

Martin Sorrell is “making an excellent recovery” after undergoing keyhole surgery at a London hospital. The S4 Capital executive chairman and WPP founder, who turns 78 on 14 February, underwent an operation on Sunday (5 February) night.
