The International Olympic Committee has appointed former Lego executive Lars Silberbauer as global head of brand, marketing and digital. Unilever has announced that it would resume advertising on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in the United States after pausing in June due to divisiveness and hate speech on the platforms during the U.S. election period. As per campaign live, Unilever plans to end the advertising pause next month and would continue to scrutinize the platforms in the post-election period.
4. ZEEL Acquires Film Production & Distribution Business from Zee Studios
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) has acquired the film production and distribution business on a slump sale basis from Zee Studios Limited (formerly known as Essel Vision Productions Limited) for a cash consideration of Rs 275 crore. As per exchange4media, the acquisition is expected to be completed in two months.

Nikhil Dey, Vice Chairman at Weber Shandwick, has decided to step down. According to exchange4media, Dey’s last working day will be 31 December 2020. Prior to working at Weber Shandwick, Dey had an eight-year-long stint at Genesis Burson- Marsteller where he served as the President, Public Relations and Public Affairs.
